What data do you collect on each click?
We capture: total clicks, exact timestamp, IP address, User-Agent (browser/device info), country code, device type (Mobile/Desktop/Tablet/Bot), and referrer URL. No personal identifiers beyond standard web request headers are stored.
How accurate is the country detection?
Country is detected using Cloudflare's CF-IPCountry header, which is highly accurate for most legitimate traffic.
Can I see individual IP addresses in the analytics?
Yes. The admin dashboard shows the last 50 clicks with full details including IP address, timestamp, User-Agent, country flag, and device type.
How do I access the admin dashboard?
Go to any of the shortener domains (e.g. google.diyregistry.com/admin) and use the default password: Password123. We strongly recommend changing it after first login.
Is my data private? Do you sell or share analytics?
No. All analytics are stored only in your Cloudflare KV namespace. We do not sell, share, or send data to third parties. You have full control over your data.
How long is click history stored?
The last 50 clicks per link are stored with full details. Basic stats (total clicks + last clicked time) are kept indefinitely.
Can I use custom domains like google.diyregistry.com?
Yes! The same worker code powers multiple branded domains (google.diyregistry.com, facebook.diyregistry.com, bitcoin.bankcoin.trade, etc.).
Does it work with QR codes?
Absolutely. Short links are perfect for QR codes since they are short and memorable.
What happens if I delete a short link?
The link stops working immediately and all its analytics data is permanently removed.
